From
2015
The idea
In 2015, after the loss of his friend Luis Miguel Rocha, Eric Frattini, founder of TREX Exploring, found inspiration in the story of a woman who, after beating cancer, ran the New York Marathon. That spark led him to dream of an adventure: to climb Kilimanjaro with five women cancer survivors.
On September 29, 2015, that dream came true. Araceli, Carmen, Rosa, Eva, and María reached the summit of Kilimanjaro, achieving a milestone followed by 44 million people.
At TREX Exploring, we believe that everyone has a hero within. Our motto, “Don’t dream it. Make it happen.”, is a constant reminder that with the right adventure, the perfect moment, and a unique story, any dream can become a reality. Since then, we’ve inspired hundreds of stories of resilience, bringing hope and change to society.
