DAVIS CUP

International tennis competition organised by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) since 1900. Unlike most international tennis tournaments, the Davis Cup does not involve individual players, but rather national teams made up of several players designated by their own national federation.

The Davis Cup is an annual men’s tournament, whereas the Fed Cup is its equivalent version for women’s tennis players. The Davis Cup is currently the largest annual sporting tournament, with 133 national teams. The United States is the team with most titles, i.e. thirty-two.
