BARCELONA HALF MARATHON

The Barcelona Half Marathon, better known as the eDreams Mitja Marató Barcelona, was certified in 2020 as the “Best Half Marathon” in Spain by the IAAF. The runners kick off the 21.0975 km from downtown Passeig Pujades, next to the Parc de la Ciutadella and in front of the Arc de Triomf to end on Carrer Marina, before reaching the finish line located in the same place as the start, on Passeig Pujades.

The first edition took place in 1991, and among the winners are well-known athletes, such as the Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge, winner of the 2013 and 2014 editions, or the also Kenyan Eric Kiptanui, winner of the 2019 edition as well as of the Lisbon and Berlin Half Marathons.
