C95 #STOPBULLYING ADVENTURE

From 07 March 2017 to 26 March 2017

Since time immemorial, Peru has been a land of adventure, of great empires, feats and discoveries. With the size of Germany, France and Spain combined, this country has become a unique destination for all those who want to encounter high peaks, such as the Andes mountain range or Machu Picchu (where they will plant the expedition flag), and deep jungles, such as Madre de Dios.

How:

8 Spanish kids, 4 boys and 4 girls, who have been bullied, one of the main social issues in Spain, will experience a real adventure in Peru. They will surf the waters of the Pacific and get to know the Lord of Sipán with its discoverer, Walter Alva. They will live with young Peruvians from the Andean communities in the Sacred Valley, climb among the ruins of Machu Picchu, walk along the centuries-old causeways of Cusco, immerse themselves in the impenetrable Amazonian jungles of Madre de Dios, navigate the small arms of the Tambopata River and visit recovery centres for animal species.

Why:

The C95 Peru 2017 #stopbullying Adventure aims to provide a voice, a face and a solution to the problem of bullying in Spain through the stories of our eight expedition members, i.e. young people aged between 16 and 18 who have had to cope with this problem that already affects one in 10 students in Spain, according to Save the Children.
